How To Make Arabic Fattoush Salad

Ingredients
- 2 cups of mixed salad greens
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup of fresh parsley leaves, chopped
- 1 cup of fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 2 pita breads, toasted and broken into pieces
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of sumac powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the salad greens, cucumber, tomatoes, bell pepper, red onion, parsley, and mint.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, sumac powder, salt, and pepper.

Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss to coat evenly.

Add the toasted pita bread pieces and gently toss again.
