How To Make Strawberry Arugula Salad
Add a new twist to your usual arugula salad with our recipe! Enjoy your salad with a sweet surprise of strawberries paired with a tangy vinaigrette.

Ingredients
For Strawberry Salad:
- 5ozarugula
- ½cupfresh basil,chopped
- 1lbstrawberries,thinly sliced
- ¾cupred onion,finely chopped, about ½ small onion
- 4ozgoat cheese,crumbled, or feta, or 1 ripe avocado, diced
- ½cupsunflower seeds,roasted and salted
- ½cupradish,halved and thinly sliced
- 1jalapeño,medium, very thinly sliced
For Balsamic Vinaigrette:
- ¼cupextra-virgin olive oil
- 1½tbspbalsamic vinegar
- 1tbspdijon mustard
- ½tbspmaple syrup,or honey
- 1garlic clove,pressed or minced
- pinchfine sea salt,to taste
- freshly ground black pepper,to taste
Instructions
Strawberry Salad:

On a large serving platter, layer in the following order: arugula, basil, strawberries, onion, goat cheese, sunflower seeds, radish, and jalapeno.
Balsamic Vinaigrette:

In a liquid measuring cup or small bowl, combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, mustard, maple syrup, garlic, salt and pepper, then whisk until fully blended.

Drizzle vinaigrette on top, toss to combine, then serve. Enjoy!
