How To Make Romaine Hearts Salad with Cheese and Almonds
This tangy romaine hearts salad is made with lemon and two kinds of savory cheese, and packed with crunchy and nutty greens, for a tasteful meal.

- ½cupolive oil
- ½cupvegetable oil
- 3tbsplemon juice
- ½tbspwhite vinegar,distilled
- ¾tspsalt
- 2garlic cloves,minced
- 1tbspbutter
- ½cupalmonds,sliced
- 3romaine hearts,chopped into bite size pieces
- 1cupblue cheese,crumbled
- 1cupromano cheese,grated
Instructions

Mix the olive oil, vegetable oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and garlic in a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the almonds for 5 minutes, until lightly browned.

In a large bowl, toss the toasted almonds, lettuce, blue cheese, and Romano cheese. Pour in the dressing, and toss to coat.
