Spinach is an element frequently seen in dietary smoothies, salads, and pasta dishes. If you’re planning to include it in your everyday meals, it’s easy to find variations of spinach recipes and we’d like to add to that list. Red, white, and blue is a popular color triad incorporated within a spinach salad during the 4th of July. But you don’t have to wait for Independence Day. In fact, this combination of fruits and vegetables is a fresh, vibrantly colored meal that fits the bright, summer vibe.

At times, finding specific fruits and vegetables can be frustrating. So, if you plan to eat this dish all year round, it’s best to know which fruits and vegetables are in season. Ideally, this spinach salad allows you to alter the reds, blues, and whites to your liking. Thus, it doesn’t matter what season it is. There are a few combinations you can try without having to struggle to look. For reds, you can choose to interchange cranberries with strawberries, apples, raspberries, and even tomatoes. When it comes to blues, you can never go wrong with blueberries, blackberries, elderberries, or even Concord grapes. The whites are especially fun to find with almonds, cheese, chicken meat, sesame seeds, or cauliflower to choose from.

There’s no need to think twice in making this dish–it’s simple, easy, and has a heap of antioxidants. It provides a sweet yet tangy salad dressing that complements each flavor.
