How To Make Mexican Caesar Salad

In this salad recipe, we are going to make a Mexican twist out of the classic Caesar’s salad. Get some tortilla chips ready and some pepitas and enjoy!

  • 6cupskale leaves
  • 4cupsRomaine lettuce
  • 1cupfried tortilla strips
  • ½cup fresh cilantro leaveschopped
  • cup toasted pepitas 
  • 1pcavocadopeeled, pitted and thinly sliced
  • 1cupGreek Yogurt Caesar Dressing which I recommend making with lime juice, instead of lemon juice, for this recipe
  • 1cupcrumbled cotija cheese


  1. Combine kale, Romaine, tortilla strips, cilantro, pepitas, and avocado in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Drizzle evenly with the Caesar dressing, and toss to combine.

  3. Serve immediately, sprinkled with crumbled cotija or queso fresco.
