How To Make Cheesy Classic Wedge Salad
Made with a crisp iceberg lettuce, fresh tomatoes, bacon, and a creamy dressing, this classic wedge salad is a fancy side you can easily make at home!
Ingredients
For Dressing:
- ½cupmayonnaise
- â…“cupbuttermilk
- ¼cupblue cheese,crumbled
- ¼cupsour cream
- ¼cupred wine vinegar
- 1½tbspwhite sugar
- 1tbspextra-virgin olive oil
For Salad:
- 1headiceberg lettuce,cut into 8 wedges
- 2tomatoes,diced
- 1cupbacon,cooked, crumbled
- ½cupblue cheese,crumbled
- ¼cupfresh parsley
Instructions

Combine the dressing ingredients in a bowl, and blend using a hand mixer. Taste, and add salt and pepper as needed.Â

Chill until ready to serve.

Build the salad by placing 1 lettuce wedge on each of 8 plates. Drizzle equal amounts of the dressing over each wedge of lettuce.

Scatter the tomatoes, bacon, and blue cheese over each salad, and garnish with fresh parsley.
