How To Make Caprese Pasta Salad

Grab a bite of this fresh pasta salad, packed with juicy bursts of tomatoes and tender pasta, and coated in a tangy balsamic vinaigrette for a filling meal!

For Caprese Pasta Salad:

  • 1lbdry pasta
  • 2cupscherry tomatoes,or grape tomatoes
  • 8ozfresh mozzarella,diced
  • cupfresh basil leaves,julienned or shredded
  • cupextra virgin olive oil

For Balsamic Vinaigrette:

  • 3tbspbalsamic vinegar
  • 1tbsphoney
  • ¼tspsea salt
  • ¼tspblack pepper,freshly-cracked
  • pinchItalian seasoning,store-bought or homemade


Caprese Pasta Salad:

  1. Cook the pasta in a large stockpot of generously-salted water al dente according to package directions.

  2. Drain pasta and rinse under cold water for about 20 to 30 seconds until no longer hot.

Balsamic Vinaigrette:

  1. Whisk the balsamic vinegar, honey, sea salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.

  2. In a large serving bowl, toss pasta with the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, oil and balsamic vinaigrette until incorporated.

  3. Serve, and enjoy!
