How To Make Broccoli Salad

Enjoy the fresh flavor of this broccoli salad made with fresh broccoli, bacon, and dried cranberries mixed in with a flavorful homemade creamy dressing!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8cupsbroccoli,cut into bite-sized pieces
  • cupred onion,diced
  • ½cupcranberries,dried
  • ¼cupsunflower seeds
  • ½cupbacon bits
  • 3tbspcider vinegar
  • 2tbspsugar
  • 1cupmayonnaise
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the cider vinegar, sugar, mayonnaise, and salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, onion, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and bacon bits. Pour the prepared dressing over and mix well.

  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.

Recipe Notes

 

1. Dry broccoli very well so moisture doesn’t water down the dressing. 2. Reserve some crisp bacon for garnish if desired, and add before serving. 3. Store-bought coleslaw dressing can replace the homemade dressing if desired.
