  • 5bacon slices,or more to taste
  • 1fresh broccoli head,diced
  • 1cauliflower head,chopped
  • ¾cupsharp cheddar cheese,shredded
  • ¼red onion,chopped
  • ½cupcreamy salad dressing,such as Miracle Whip®
  • ½cupwhite sugar
  • 2tbspwhite vinegar


  1. Place the bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until evenly browned. Drain the bacon slices on paper towels and crumble.

  2. Stir the broccoli, cauliflower, Cheddar cheese, and onion together in a large bowl.

  3. Whisk the creamy salad dressing, sugar, and vinegar together in a separate bowl until sugar is dissolved. Pour over the broccoli mixture and toss to coat.

  4. Refrigerate salad for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Stir the crumbled bacon into the salad, then serve and enjoy!
