How To Make BLT Chopped Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette

For a simple yet filling meal, whip up this filling BLT chopped salad that’s packed with fresh veggies and bacon, and tossed in a tangy lemon vinaigrette!

For Lemon Vinaigrette:

  • ¼cupolive oil
  • ¼cupcanola oil
  • tbsplemon juice,fresh
  • 1garlic cloves,minced
  • 1tbspdijon mustard
  • 1tsphoney
  • ¼tspsalt,plus more to taste as desired
  • ¼tspfreshly ground black pepper,plus more to taste as desired

For Salad:

  • 1large romaine lettuce head
  • 12ozbacon,cooked, crumbled
  • 2medium avocados,diced
  • 6ozfeta cheese,crumbled
  • 12ozcherry tomatoes,or grape tomatoes, each sliced into 3 segments
  • ½cupalmonds,slivered, toasted
  • 2chicken breasts,grilled and sliced into strips, optional


Lemon Vinaigrette:

  1. Add the oils, lemon juice, garlic, mustard, honey, salt, and pepper to a blender and pulse until well emulsified. Store in the refrigerator.


  1. Add the lettuce, bacon, avocado, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, almonds, and chicken to a large bowl or just layer on plates individually.

  2. Toss with dressing just before serving. Enjoy!
