
How To Make Blackened Salmon Salad
A little charred flesh is not a bad thing! This blackened salmon salad contains a little sweetness that goes with the briny salmon flavor on top of veggies.

Ingredients
For Salad:
- 12ozsalmon fillets,(2 fillets)
- 2tbspolive oil
- 1tbspblackening seasoning
- 4cupsred leaf lettuce
- ½avocado,sliced
- 1cupcucumbers,sliced
- 2oranges
- ¼cupred onion,thinly sliced
- ¼cupfeta cheese
For Dressing:
- 3tbspvegetable oil
- 2tbsporange juice
- 1tsporange zest
- 1tbspcider vinegar
- 1tsphoney
- 1tspdijon mustard
- salt and pepper,to taste
Instructions
Dressing:

Combine all dressing ingredients in a mason jar or container. Shake to mix and refrigerate.
Salad:

Season salmon with blackening seasoning. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until just cooked through. Rest 5 minutes while preparing the salad.

Divide lettuce between the bowls. Divide remaining salad ingredients over bowls.

Top with salmon and drizzle with dressing.
