How To Make Avocado Pasta Salad

This delicious pasta salad is tossed with crisp bacon, cherry tomatoes, and green onions, then dressed with creamy avocado lime dressing.

For Salad:

  • 8ozpasta,rotini or bow tie
  • 1cupcherry tomatoes,diced
  • 8slicesbacon,cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1green onion,thinly sliced
  • 2tbspcilantro,chopped
  • 1avocado,diced
  • 1tsplime juice

For Dressing:

  • 1ripe avocado
  • ½fresh lime,juiced
  • ¼cupcilantro,chopped
  • ½tspcumin
  • ½tspgarlic powder
  • ½cupbuttermilk
  • salt and pepper,to taste


  1. Place all dressing ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and run under cold water.

  3. Toss diced avocado with lime juice.

  4. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl gently toss with dressing.

  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
