How To Make Asian Chicken Salad Recipe

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts


  1. Preheat grill or grill pan. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  2. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Let cool, then slice into strips.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic to make the dressing.

  4. In a large salad bowl, toss together salad greens, carrots, cucumbers, red onions, and cilantro.

  5. Add sliced chicken to the salad and drizzle with the dressing. Toss to coat everything evenly.

  6. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts before serving.
