How To Make Marinated Tomatoes

- 1lbripe tomatoes
- ½white onion,sliced
- ¼cupolive oil
- 2tbspred wine vinegar
- 1clovegarlic,sliced
- 1tspfresh parsley
- 1tspfresh basil
- ½tspsalt,or to taste
- ½tspblack pepper
Instructions

Wash tomatoes and slice ¼-inch thick.

Whisk remaining ingredients and pour over tomatoes in a shallow bowl or a freezer bag.

Marinate for about 2 hours or up to 2 days turning occasionally. Discard garlic before serving.
