Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork loin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the pork loin with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried rosemary.

  2. Brown the pork loin on all sides in the skillet.

  3. In a slow cooker, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, and honey. Place the browned pork loin into the slow cooker.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the pork loin is tender and cooked through.

  5. Remove the pork loin from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  6. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water until smooth. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker and stir to combine with the cooking juices.

  7. Cook on high for an additional 15 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

  8. Slice the pork loin and serve with the thickened sauce.
