How To Make Sticky Gammon Steaks

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 gammon steaks
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or barbecue.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red chili flakes.

  3. Place the gammon steaks on the grill or barbecue and brush them generously with the sticky glaze mixture.

  4. Cook the steaks for about 8-10 minutes on each side, glazing them every few minutes, until they are cooked through and caramelized.

  5. Remove the steaks from the grill or barbecue and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

  6. Serve the sticky gammon steaks with your choice of sides and enjoy!
