How To Make Pork Milanese with Spaghetti

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 pork cutlets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 cups cooked spaghetti
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese together.

  3. In another shallow bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together.

  4. Season the pork cutlets with salt and pepper.

  5. Dredge each cutlet in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat in the breadcrumb mixture.

  6. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  7. Cook the breaded pork cutlets for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.

  8. Transfer the cutlets to a baking sheet and finish cooking in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.

  9. While the pork is baking, heat the marinara sauce in a large saucepan.

  10. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat.

  11. Serve the breaded pork cutlets on top of the spaghetti and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
