How To Make Roast Pork with Pear Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork loin
  • 2 pears, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Season the pork loin with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.

  3. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat and sear the pork loin on all sides until browned.

  4. Transfer the pork loin to a baking dish and roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  5. In the same skillet, add the onions and garlic and sauté until golden.

  6. Add the diced pears, apple cider vinegar, and honey to the skillet. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the pears are soft.

  7. Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, blend the pear sauce until smooth.

  8. Slice the roasted pork loin and serve with the pear sauce on top.
