Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 (4-5 lb) boneless ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Place the ham in a slow cooker.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Pour the mixture over the ham in the slow cooker.

  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the ham is heated through.

  4. Remove the ham from the slow cooker and place on a serving platter. Tent with foil to keep warm.

  5. In a small saucepan, mix together the cornstarch and cold water. Stir in the remaining juices from the slow cooker. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the glaze thickens.

  6. Brush the glaze over the ham.

  7. Slice the ham and serve with the remaining glaze.
