Ingredients

  • 4 steaks (preferably ribeye or sirloin)
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.

  3. Place the sweet potato slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

  4. Bake the sweet potato chips for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.

  5. Heat a grill pan or skillet over high heat. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your preference.

  6. Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with the crispy sweet potato chips.
