How To Make Teriyaki Steak

Ingredients

  • 4 (8 oz) beef steaks
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.

  2. Place the steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Remove the steaks from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later use.

  5. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired doneness.

  6. While cooking the steaks, brush them with the reserved marinade occasionally for added flavor.

  7. Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve the teriyaki steaks with steamed rice or veggies, and drizzle with any remaining marinade.
