How To Make Steak & Mushroom Bakes

Ingredients
- 4 steak cuts (such as sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the onions and mushrooms. Sauté until the onions are caramelized and mushrooms are tender.

Add garlic, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute.

In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth and cornstarch until well combined.

Pour the broth mixture into the skillet with the onions and mushrooms. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens.

Place the seared steaks in a baking dish. Pour the mushroom sauce over the steaks.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until the steaks are cooked to your desired doneness.

Remove from the oven and let the steaks rest for a few minutes.

Serve the steak & mushroom bakes hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
