How To Make Pan-Fried Cube Steaks with Simple Pan Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 cube steaks
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions

Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper on both sides, then dredge them in flour.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the cube steaks to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.

Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced slightly.

Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the butter until melted and incorporated into the sauce.

Place the cooked cube steaks back into the skillet with the sauce, and spoon the sauce over the steaks.
