- 1tsphot pepper sauce
- cooking oil
- 8buns

Instructions
-
Use the food processor with its shredder attachment to grate the carrot. Unplug the machine, remove the shredder attachment, and put in the blade attachment.
-
Add the walnuts and mushrooms, put the lid on, and process until minced. Add the beans, corn, cheese, mayo, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Pulse exactly 4 times, 1 second per pulse, until some of the mixtures are mushy and some are chunky.
-
Dump the mixture into the mixing bowl. Use clean hands to form patties 1⁄2-inch thick and as big around as the buns. Put the patties on the plate.
-
Pour enough cooking oil in the skillet to lightly coat the bottom, about 2 teaspoons. Heat on medium until the oil shimmers.
-
Then put the veggie patties in the skillet so they’re not touching and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the outside is brown and slightly crispy. Turn off the stove when they are done.
-
Fix burgers as desired. Serve and enjoy.
