Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 45 minutes
Total: 60 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

  4. Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, shredded cheese, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until everything is well combined.

  5. Pour the mixture into a pie crust and spread it evenly. Place the top crust over the filling and crimp the edges to seal.

  6. Cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape during baking.

  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

  8. Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
