Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, jalapeño pepper, red onion, garlic, hot sauce, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  4. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, then top with lettuce and tomato slices.
