How To Make Wendy's Junior Bacon Cheeseburger (Copycat)
Take the comfort of fast food at home with this Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburger recipe. A juicy beef patty, stacked with crispy bacon and fresh veggies for a satisfying sandwich.
Ingredients
- 1 plain hamburger bun
- â…“ lb ground beef
- salt and ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 slice American cheese
- 2 strips cooked bacon
- 1 iceberg lettuce leaf
- 1 slice tomato
Instructions
- Heat a pan or griddle over a medium flame. Heat the buns on the pan for 2 minutes until brown. Keep the pan hot.
- Brown the faces of the bun in a saute pan or griddle over medium heat. Keep the pan hot.
- Form ground beef into approximately 4x4 inch square patties. Cook patties in the pan for 3 to 4 minutes or until done. Season each side of the patty with salt during cooking.
- Place the patty on the bottom bun. Stack cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato slice on top of the patty. Spread mayonnaise on top bun and place on the rest of the sandwich.
- Spread the mayonnaise on the top bun
