Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/4 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup sliced tomato
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives, chopped
  • 4 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.

  2. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  3. Toast the burger buns if desired. Spread tzatziki sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

  4. Place a cooked burger patty on each bun. Top with cucumber slices, tomato slices, red onion slices, chopped olives, and lettuce leaves.

  5. Place the top half of the bun on each burger. Serve immediately.
