Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mash the cooked lentils using a fork.

  2. Add breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.

  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the lentil patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

  5. Toast the burger buns.

  6. Serve the lentil patties on the buns with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
