How To Make Lamb Burgers with Fennel Salad
For the Salad:
- 2 cup fennel bulb (thinly sliced )
- 1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
- 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
- 1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp fresh mint (chopped )
- 1 tbsp lemon rind (grated)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
For the Burgers:
- 1/2 cup (2 oz.) crumbled feta cheese with basil and garlic
- 1/4 cup pimiento-stuffed olives (chopped )
- 2 tbsp Greek seasoning (e.g. McCormick)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 lb lean ground lamb
- 1 lb ground turkey breast

- 4 (6-inch) pitas (cut in half)
