Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • Lettuce, tomato, and red onion for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together ground lamb, feta cheese, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. Shape the mixture into four patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the minty yogurt sauce by combining Greek yogurt, chopped mint leaves, lemon juice, and honey in a small bowl. Stir well to combine.

  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
