How To Make Crispy Sesame Fish Burger with Lime Mayo

- 4 fish fillets (such as cod or haddock)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- Tomato slices, for serving
- Lime Mayo:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with sesame seeds.

Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper.

Dip each fillet into the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Fry the coated fish fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.

Transfer the fish fillets to a baking sheet and finish cooking in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
