How To Make Bulgogi Burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion


  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to make the bulgogi marinade.

  2. Add ground beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Form the marinated ground beef into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

  5. Cook the burgers for about 4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  7. Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings.
