How To Make Blackened Fish Burger

This blackened fish burger proves that burgers don’t always have to be fatty and greasy. Blackened fish fillets are served with cabbage & Greek yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 6oztilapia,(1 tilapia), fillet
  • 1tbspcajun seasoning
  • 1tbspGreek yogurt
  • 1tspsriracha sauce
  • 1whole wheat hamburger bun
  • 1leafred cabbage
  • 3slicesavocado

Instructions

  1. Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, until hot.

  2. Meanwhile, rub tilapia with Cajun seasoning and set aside.

  3. Combine Greek yogurt and Sriracha in a bowl; mix well. Place mixture onto one side of the bun; add red cabbage and avocado.

  4. Cook fish in the hot skillet or griddle until almost black, but not burned. This will be about 2 minutes per side. It should be crunchy on the outside but flaky on the inside. Place fish on the prepared bun.
