A delicious and simple crockpot recipe that can easily be everyone's favorite! This recipe makes use of the crockpot to gently simmer and tenderize the turkey meat, allowing it to soak up the deliciously seasoned broth for a tasty meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 8 banana peppers, chopped
  • 2 scallions, sliced
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 15 oz tomatoes , with basil
  • garlic
  • oregano
  • ½ cup marsala wine
  • basil
  • garlic
  • fennel seed , to top
  • parmesan , or romano cheese, to top

Instructions

  1. Layer ingredients in the order listed, starting with 2 tablespoons of olive oil drizzled on the bottom of the slow cooker.

  2. Sprinkle basil, garlic, and fennel seed on top, and then cheese.
  3. Drizzle olive oil on top.
  4. Cook on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.
