How To Make CrockPot Kid-Friendly Turkey Chili
The perfect school lunch meal for the most picky eaters! Kids will love this turkey chili recipe made of ground turkey, bell peppers, tomatoes, and spices!

Ingredients
- 1.3lbs99% lean ground turkey
- 1tspoil
- 1mediumonion,minced
- 1red bell pepper,diced fine
- 1garlic clove,minced
- 1½cupsfrozen corn kernels
- 10ozRotel Mild Tomatoes,1 can
- 8ozplain tomato sauce,1 small can
- ¼cupchicken broth,low sodium
- 1tspcumin
- ½tspchili powder
- ½tsppaprika
- ½tspkosher salt
- 1bayleaf
For Optional Toppings:
- avocado,diced
- sour cream,reduced fat
- cheese,reduced fat, shredded
- tortilla chips,baked
Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the turkey, season with salt and cook, breaking up with a spoon until turkey browns and is no longer pink; place into the slow cooker.

Add the oil to the skillet and sauté the onion, garlic and bell pepper over medium heat for about 4 to 5 minutes.

Spoon over turkey into the slow cooker and stir in corn and tomatoes, tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder, paprika and salt, mix until well blended.

Pour chicken broth into the crock pot and add the bay leaf.

Cover and cook on HIGH 4 hours or LOW 6 hours.

Serve with desired toppings.
