
How To Make Crockpot Chili
As the cold season nears, it is best to make a flavorful and savory crockpot chili dish. Making chili in the crockpot will incorporate flavors well.

Ingredients
- 1lbground beef
- 8bacon
- 2tspbutter
- 1tbspolive oil
- 1onion,large, chopped
- 1green bell pepper,chopped
- 2garlic cloves,minced
- 2cansred kidney bean,plus juice from
- 1½ozchili seasoning
- 14½oztomatoes,petite diced, drained and rinsed
- 10oztomato,diced
- 15canstomato sauce,plain
- ½cupbeef broth,or water
- 2tbspmaple syrup
- 1tbsphoney
For Optional Toppings:
- sour cream
- green onion,chopped
- Frank’s Red Hot® Sauce
- cheddar cheese,shredded
Instructions

Brown your choice of ground meat in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Stir often till thoroughly cooked.

Drain in a small-holed colander, rinse with hot water to get rid of excess grease, drain. Place meat in the crockpot.

Heat butter and oil In a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir onions and bell peppers for 5 to 6 minutes, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour onions, peppers, garlic into the crockpot and turn the crockpot to high heat.

Add all remaining ingredients and stir until seasoning packets are combined into the sauce. Stir every 30 minutes.

Cook on High for 1 to 2 hours. Then turn to Warm while serving dinner

Serve with optional toppings, if desired.
