How To Make Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili

Ingredients

  • 1small onion,chopped
  • 15½ozblack beans,(1 can) drained
  • 15½ozkidney beans,(1 can) drained
  • 8oztomato sauce,(1 can)
  • 10ozfrozen corn kernels
  • 10oztomatoes w/chilies,(2 cans) diced
  • 4ozgreen chili peppers,chopped
  • 1reduced sodium taco seasoning,(packet) or homemade
  • 1tbspcumin
  • 1tbspchili powder
  • 3chicken breasts,(24 oz) boneless skinless
  • ¼cupfresh cilantro,chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine beans, onion, chili peppers, corn, tomato sauce, diced tomato, cumin, chili powder, and taco seasoning in a slow cooker and mix well.

  2. Nestle the chicken in to completely cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to 6 hours.

  3. A half an hour before serving, remove chicken, and shred.

  4. Return chicken to slow cooker and stir in.

  5. Top with fresh cilantro and your favorite toppings!
