Ingredients

  • 1 lb braising steak, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 chilli, chopped
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp masala
  • salt and pepper , to taste

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan, cook the beef for 4 to 5 minutes until it has browned.

  2. Toss in the onions and continue to cook for 5 minutes.

  3. Add the chili, cumin, turmeric, masala, salt, and pepper. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes.

  4. Place the beef mixture and tomato sauce in the crockpot.

  5. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

  6. 30 minutes before serving, stir in the masala.

  7. Serve this warm Beef Curry in the Crockpot over a steaming bed of rice!
