  • ¼cupextra-virgin olive oil
  • ½cupred bell pepper,chopped
  • ¼cupbasil leaves,tightly packed
  • ¼tspred pepper flakes
  • black pepper,ground, to taste


  1. Place the Parmesan cheese and olive oil in a blender or food processor; blend until smooth.

  2. Add the red bell pepper, basil, red pepper flakes, and black pepper; blend again until smooth.
