Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 cans chopped clams, drained
  • 1/2 cup clam juice
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb linguine

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant.

  2. Add the chopped clams, clam juice, and white wine to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

  4. Stir the chopped parsley into the clam sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the clam sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.

  6. Serve the clam sauce over the linguine and garnish with additional parsley, if desired.
