Spicy Black Bean Dip Recipe

Ready your nachos and tacos or any of your favorite Mexican bites. The goodness of black beans gets a spicy twist in this fun black bean dip.

This black bean dip recipe gets a kick of hot sauce and serrano chiles. We\\\’ve even added in a cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • cups tomato, crushed
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • 2 pcs serrano chiles, or jalapenos, seeded and finely chopped
  • cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, or red cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except cheese, in a food processor and blend slightly.
  2. Place mixture in a small baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes and serve warm with tortilla chips.
