How To Make Smoker Sauce

This smoker sauce is a barbecue sauce made flavorful with generous amounts of pepper, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic for an all-around aromatic flavor.

  • 18ozbarbeque sauce
  • 4ozjar salsa
  • ½cupsoy sauce
  • ¾cuppacked brown sugar
  • 1tspground ginger
  • 1tbspcrushed garlic
  • 1tbspcoarsely ground black pepper
  • salt,to taste


  1. In a large bowl, stir together the barbeque sauce, salsa, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, ground black pepper, and salt. Store in a jar in the refrigerator until ready to use. Use as a marinade or a basting sauce when smoking meats or fish.
