How To Make Slow Cooker Restaurant Style Garden Salsa

  • 7cupsred tomatoes,chopped
  • 2largeonions
  • 1red bell pepper,chopped
  • 1green bell pepper,chopped
  • 4jalapeno peppers,chopped, leave seeds in for more heat
  • ¼cupapple cider vinegar
  • 1tspground coriander
  • 1tbspfresh cilantro,chopped
  • 3tbspbasil,fresh chopped
  • 1tbspfresh sage,chopped
  • 2tspsalt,to taste


  1. In a slow cooker add tomatoes, onions, peppers, apple cider vinegar, and coriander. Cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours or High for 3. Right before it is done add in the cilantro, basil, and sage. Let it cool for a bit.

  2. Spoon the salsa in to a blender or food processor. Pulse until it is the desired thickness.

  3. Add in salt to taste.
