How To Make Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter

Whip up your own pumpkin butter with this spiced recipe! It’s made in the slow cooker to bring out the rich fall flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, and ginger.

Ingredients

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 29ozpumpkin puree,(1 can)
  • cupsbrown sugar
  • cupswhite sugar
  • 2tspground cinnamon
  • 1tspground nutmeg
  • 1tspground ginger
  • ½tspground cloves
  • ½tspvanilla extract
  • ¼tspsalt

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.

  2. Mix the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl until well incorporated. Transfer to the slow cooker.

  3. Cook on Low, stirring occasionally, for about 3 hours until the pumpkin butter has thickened to desired consistency.

  4. Serve over bread or desired desserts, and enjoy!
