  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: chopped parsley, toasted pumpkin seeds


  1. In a food processor, combine pumpkin puree, chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, and paprika. Blend until smooth.

  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasonings if needed.

  3. Transfer hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with additional olive oil, if desired.

  4. Garnish with chopped parsley and toasted pumpkin seeds, if desired.

  5. Serve with pita bread, chips, or cut-up vegetables.
