How To Make Red, White and Blue Salsa

An incredibly simple recipe for a wonderful dip! This fiery salsa is more than just a bit of heat to your meal, it's combination of berries, aromatics along with the jalapeno peppers, is something makes it worth while to make. Perfect for the 4th of July festivities.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup jicama, diced
  • cup cilantro, chopped
  • ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp jalapeno pepper, stemmed, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • salt, to taste
  • tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine blueberries, strawberries, jicama, cilantro, red onion, jalapeno, and lime juice.
  2. Stir until well combined.
  3. Season with salt, to taste.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips at room temperature or chilled.
