  • ½cupruby port
  • 3striporange zest
  • ½cupfresh orange juice
  • 12ozfresh cranberries
  • ¾cupsugar


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the port with the orange zest and orange juice and bring to a boil.

  2. Add the cranberries and sugar and simmer over moderately low heat for about 25 minutes until the sauce is jam-like.

  3. Transfer to a bowl and serve warm or at room temperature.
