How To Make Pesto Cream Sauce

Nothing beats a classic pesto cream sauce. This particular recipe is easy and requires ingredients that are easily available and very pantry-friendly.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup prepared pesto sauce
  • tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Heat heavy whipping cream and water in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  2. Add butter, pesto sauce, garlic powder and salt. Reduce heat and continue to cook about 5 more minutes over low heat.
  3. Stir in ½ cup parmesan cheese until melted.
