How To Make Mushroom Steak Sauce
This steak sauce is made of mushrooms, butter, drippings from cooked steak, and beef broth. It’s a great topping for steaks and most hearty meat dishes!

Ingredients
- 4tbspbutter,divided use
- 16ozmushrooms,sliced
- 1½tspgarlic,minced
- 2tbspflour
- 1½cupsbeef broth
- 1½tbspWorcestershire sauce
- 2tbspsteak drippings,from cooked steak, optional
- salt and pepper,to taste
- 1tbspparsley,chopped
Instructions

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pan over medium high heat.

Add the mushrooms, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the mushrooms have softened and are browned.

Add the garlic, then cook for 30 seconds. Stir in the flour.

Slowly whisk in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and steak drippings.

Bring to a simmer, then cook until just thickened.

Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.

Sprinkle with parsley, then spoon the sauce over steak or choice of protein.
